Overview

The Wisconsin Multifacet Project seeks to improve the multiprocessorservers that form the computational infrastructure for Internet webservers, databases, and other demanding applications. Work focuseson using the transistor bounty provided by Moore's Law to improvemultiprocessor performance, cost, and fault tolerance, while also makingthese systems easier to design and program.
